Unable to make (was Re: {bb} Disable Problem)

Please note that I've changed the subject line. You shouldn't
insert your question into an existing thread. It's confusing;
it's considered bad netiquette and it makes it more difficult
for others to help.

It would help if you could provide some more information. First,
please confirm that you are using version 1.9g of BB. Next,
did you supply a OS parameter to the "bbconfig" step or did
you allow the script to try and work that out? If so, did the
script identify the OS as debian or something else?
