{bb} Larrd causing high load avg on bb server

(BB 1.9e-btf and bbgen 3.5.)
Has anyone else experienced this? My load avg will spike to 30 from its
normal 7 or 8, and a top shows that larrd is the culprit, when BB is
trying to build all the graphs for the webpage. As we've been adding
more hosts, the load avg is getting higher and higher (obviously). We
don't really look at the graphs, and I'm wondering if there's an easy
way to make them go away, or not generate as many, be more efficient, or
*something*. Thanks :)
