That is the version I am using, installed /usr/local/bin

bash-3.00$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.3.2

I tried also updating make from sunfreeware.com

What version of gcc was it that you used. Did you make any other changes?

Thanks

I had this same problem with Solaris10 on Sparc. I resolved it by using the
version of gcc from sunfreeware.com instead of the version that comes with
Solaris10.
