Hi,
I'm monitoring a number of servers and processes with Big Brother.
The server is a Sun Solaris 8 machine with bb1.9g.
The clients are Sun Solaris machines and Windows XP machines.
Red conditions on the Sun and Windows machines are being
send to an e-mail address as defined in bbwarnrules.cfg on the BB server.
The BB server is also the BBDISPLAY, BBNET and BBPAGER.
When a process stops running on the Windows clients the procs
turn yellow and a page is not being send.
I have tried to set "page levels" to "yellow red" in stead of "red purple"
in the "bbntcfg" tool. I also tried to set
"SYS:ERR:Y:30 SYS:WARN:N:15 APP:ERR:Y:30 APP:WARN:N:15"
to "SYS:ERR:Y:30 SYS:WARN:Y:15 APP:ERR:Y:30 APP:WARN:Y:15"
Still, when a process goes down, a page is not send.
What can I do to get a page when a process goes down on one of the
Windows clients?
With kind regards,
Marcel Loesberg
