Re: {bb} Disabled larrd - too many purple alerts

what I've done in the past is go to the $BBHOME/www/html directory and did a

grep '<TITLE>purple'

If this listed files (server.test.html) that I was no longer doing, I removed them there. Then I went to the $BBVAR directory and did a find similar to the following:

find . -name \*server\*test\* -ls

If it made sense then I replaced the '-ls' with '-exec rm {} \;'

I found that even if you remove the html file, if you don't delete the corresponding log in BBVAR/log then it will show up purple.

hope this helps,

Paul

I disabled larrd yesterday, I simply took it out of bb-bbexttab on my BB

There are no purple alerts showing up on the bb or bb2 webpages, but
bbgen continues to alarm because of purples and BBOUT only repeatedly
tells me Thu Jul 21 10:23:21 2005 bb-display.sh 2005-07-21 10:23:21 Too
many purple updates (>30) - disabling updates for purple logs

If it would tell me what is purple, I would remove it. I don't want to
see this for the rest of the life of this machine. I'm using bb1.9e-btf
and bbgen 3.5 on a Gentoo 2.4 machine. Any suggestions? Thanks.
