{bb} Detailed log reporting

Does anyone know a way to enable some detailed log reporting. I often 
use notifications.log to get event summary reporting but of course the 
suits want details to compare our system to another one.  So rather than 
a hostname.disk event they want to see the details of the event, 
yellow/red, what partition etc.

I assume I could script this up from every history and put them in date 
order but just enabling a debug option would be cool too. I have been 
checking the support site and newsgroup but nothing yet so I thought I 
would ask.
