Re: {bb} Text reports for all events for a specific period

I use this: http://www.deadcat.net.au/viewfile.php?fileid=330
It works great.

Subject: {bb} Text reports for all events for a specific period

We had a major network outage yesterday and someone wants to know all
the events that Big Brother captured. I looked in bbvar/acks at the
various log files, but it seemed like it would take a lot of parsing...
and we don't always send notifications on all outages. Also, I looked
at the availability reports and it looks like I would have to go into
each server/test which shows not 100% to determine the actual
start/stop/duration.

What I want is something like this so I get all events on a single
report that I could email:

Server Test Event Start Event End Status Duration Cause

ServerA conn Fri Jul 29 02:25:00 2005 Fri Jul 29 03:25:01 2005 blue 1:00:01 UNTIL Fri Jul 29 03:25:00 2005 ServerB disk Fri Jul 29 01:05:51 2005 Fri Jul 29 01:23:47 2005 red 0:17:56 Filesystem of /usr/local/bbusg/bb19c/tmp is FULL or swap is full ServerA disk Thu Jul 28 22:30:31 2005 Fri Jul 29 01:05:51 2005 purple 2:35:20 ServerC mq Sun Jul 31 21:07:30 2005 Sun Jul 31 21:37:33 2005 red 0:30:03 MQSeries test on " MQPRD": ATTENTION ServerC mq Thu Aug 04 19:13:31 2005 Thu Aug 04 20:08:32 2005 red 0:55:01 MQSeries test on " MQPRD": ATTENTION

Currently running bb1.9c and bbgen 2.14. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Barbara
