The purple status means that the status is too old. Whatever is
responsible for generating the status is no longer doing so.
If these is a client tests (cpu; disk; msgs; procs), then
check that the client software is still running on that host
and that it can communicate with the BB server.
If the network tests are affected, then the BBNET server is
either stopping or sticking. There may be some enlightening
information in the BBOUT file.
In order to trace the problem, it would help to have more
information. Specifically, the version of BB, the server
operating system and the types of tests that you are
running. The current settings of the PINGPAR1 and PINGPAR2
variables in bbsys.sh and bbsys.local might also provide
a clue.
