{bb} Monitoring HTTPS sites

This issue may have been posted before, but I can't seem to find
anything on it.

I have 3 https://<website> to monitor.  When I add everything to the
bb-hosts file, my webpage shows down with the following error:

Alert!: This client does not contain support for HTTPS URLs.


I have installed the newest lynx 2.8.5 and ncurses 5.4

Any help would be appreciated.
