Apologies if this comes through twice - I sent it out yesterday
morning but haven't seen evidence that it made it to the list.
I just set up bb1.9h on a SuSE Enterprise Linux 9 box. Everything is
working well except the email. It's not coming through as text, but
instead showing up, in both PINE on a Unix box and Apple's Mail.app,
as an unknown MIME attachement.
In PINE, the body shows up as:
[ Part 1, Application/OCTET-STREAM 158bytes. ]
[ Cannot display this part. Press "V" then "S" to save in a file. ]
If I save the message to a file and look at it, it's the expected BB
notification, but with DOS-style line endings. Looking at the raw
mail, it looks like a normal email, but with the ^M's at the end of
the line.
Any ideas on what, if anything, in BB could be sending out mail like
this? When I did the BB configuration, I chose "linux" as the OS
type. If I send mail from the SuSE box with the Unix "mail" command,
mail comes through fine.
I'm attaching a copy of the, er, attachment.
Thanks,
Wade
