Re: {bb} bb will not start

John,
I had this problem once before when I had done something stupid to the bb-hosts file. Seems like I had done some copy and pasting and it had somehow damaged the file. I replaced it with the original and BB started up fine. I just had to go in and manually add things to the bb-hosts file from then on.
Again I'm not sure what the actual issue was, but as you said, it said that it was starting, nothing in the BBOUT file, but no services would come up.

If I remember any more specifics I'll repost.

Greetin's Brothers,

After a long time away, I'm back working with BB again.

I installed on Fedora Core 3 with a user - bbuser

when I go to start bb (./runbb.sh start) it says it is starting
it writes to BBOUT that it is starting
but it does not start. No processes running no griping

Any idea where I can look for clues?
