Re: {bb} bb will not start
Not a good idea IMHO. This is checking to see if bbd exists.
Have you done that for yourself? I recently started
down the path of putting up a new BBDISPLAY running
FC4, and I found out that I needed to run make twice
before bbd would show up in the $BBHOME/bin directory.
I have no idea why, and I'm digging into the problem deeper.
Is bbd there? If this is a client, bbd will not be present in
the directory.

Shawn,
Don't know if my followup to the process not starting came along, but
the
culprit was this...
In runbb.sh, the following lines...
if [ ! -f $BBHOME/bin/bbd ]
then
BBSERVER=FALSE
BBDISPLAY=FALSE
BBNET=FALSE
BBLOCAL=TRUE
else
BBLOCAL=FALSE
fi
Down later where it tested if BBSERVER=TRUE, it just fell through.
I added TRUE statements for BBSERVER, BBDISPLAY, and BBNET and it
worked.
