RE: {bb} bb-hosts & NAT
We have the same issue.
We couldn't get it to work with the public address in the bb-hosts file on
the server behind the firewall. Instead, we had to put in the non-routable
address, like so:
Outside firewall:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx domain.com # BBDISPLAY BBNET BBPAGER
Inside firewall:
192.168.1.1 domain.com # BBDISPLAY BBNET BBPAGER
I guess this is a reason to break the "same bb-hosts file everywhere" rule.
Regards,
JC

Subject: {bb} bb-hosts & NAT
We are setting up a big brother server behind a router that NATS a
public IP (we'll call it xx.xx.xx.xx) to a non public ip
(192.168.1.50). We have multiple nets so I assume that all clients NOT
on the same net as the bbserver that need to send info to the bbserver
(BBDISPLAY) need to have the following in there bb-hosts file:
xx.xx.xx.xx bbserver.someplace.com # BBDISPLAY BBNET BBPAGER.
What does the bbserver and clients on the same net need to have in their
bb-hosts
file: the same as above or
192.168.1.50 bbsever.someplace.com # BBDISPLAY BBNET BBPAGER
Thanks
