I had a look through my install. We have version 4.5 of bb-prtdiag and the temperature side of things for the V240 (I changed it to add the V490) is working fine, as do other things. Well apart from 1 minor issue where if the enclosure temperature (not the 2 CPU temps) for the V240 goes above the warning level, the larrd graph (if you are using larrd) line for the enclosure just stops, till the temperature of the enclosure drops below the warning level again.

If you want me to email the original version 4.5 through (less my V490 changes, unless you want them) just email me. It may help with the edits for version 4.7 which I haven't looked at.

Trying to figure out why it would think that a Sun-Fire-V240 would not
have temperature probes.

There's code that seems to be uncommented when it should be around line
415, and eventually it seems to set EXCLUDE to MACHINETYPE, therefore
temp checks (and other stuff) won't be performed...
