Kimberly,

Methinks the -DDATA compile flag has now been replaced by the
"DATAMSG" flag in the RUNOPTS variable (bbdef-server.sh). You
might also want the "LARRD".

As for getting larrd/butter to compile, there should be a way
to force or trick the process to skip this step. I'll try and
find something more specific.
