So... Apparently bbdef.sh also references MAXLINE/MAXMSG, and once I
changed it in there too, things started to work again.
As for the lack of paging, someone else removed the BBPAGER from
bb-hosts. Should've been the first thing I checked, but then it's
existence should be common sense. Odd that the bbchkhosts didn't warn
about that.
Eesh.

If you ./bbrm the http checks, bb never re-adds them to the bbvar logs.
It's like it ignores it from the bb-hosts. We've run bin/bbtest-net
manually with two of our servers as parameters. Both ran successfully,
and both immediately added http to the bbvar logs. It's like something
is not being called correctly during the automated bb runs. It worked
prior to bbgen3.6. But then, so did alerting. (Still broken.) Bbchkhosts
came back clean, but to double check, is it ok to have both a http and
https check on the same line? Though even the regular http checks are
also purple. But not all of either type, some http work and some https
work. I'm beating my head against a wall here.
I thought there was a way to step through the alert process and see
where it fails, but I'm not finding anything in my search. Any advice?
