It sounds unlikely that the BB client software would have any
effect on Tivoli. The client doesn't really do anything that
you couldn't do yourself on the command line. It's really
difficult to prove an negative though. Probably the best
thing to do is to stop the client and see if Tivoli
behaves itself.
One thing that does occur to me is the effect of the "df"
command. If "df" lists the storage systems that Tivoli is
managing, the client might be forcing those systems to be
re-mounted every testing cycle and that's a possible
source of conflict. In general, only local disks should
be checked by the client software. Anything that's being
handled by Tivoli is probably more effectively tested
through Tivoli.
