It depends mostly on the "distance" between the networks. More
specifically speed, bandwidth and latency. As long as one net
can communicate with another, you'll be able to test the
connectivity and network services. If you have two-way
communication, you can also install clients and get that
information.
If the two nets are directly connected, you shouldn't have
a problem putting a BB server on one net and testing the
other. If, however, there is a "slow" and/or "narrow" link
between them (or the internet for that matter), you may
get better results using multiple BB servers. You can
either have two BBNETs reporting to a single BBDISPLAY,
or have two independent server installations (BBNET,
BBDISPLAY and BBPAGER) and pass a summary status between
them.
