{bb} Manually setting a "clear" state
Greetings brothers. I have been
through the mail archives on the bb4.org site, as well as through the instruction
manuals, and I can not find the answer to this seemingly simple question.
If I take a server down for maintenance
(case in point: next Monday I have to take a server down to add RAM), how
do I manually set that to a "clear" state in BB so that connectivity
tests and such don't continue, which of course results in my getting paged
throughout the change activity? I know, I can acknowledge the alarm
and stop the pages, but I do not want it even to hit that stage. It
could very well be that I don't know how to read, or my search on bb4.org
is not asking the right question, but I can not seem to find the answer.
Thanks everyone!!!
