Bbgen (a plugin to extend the capabilities of BB) provides the ability
to add a comment into bb-hosts with each machine.  It also adds an info
column which will show which alerts are configures, as well as who it is
supposed to be paging and how often. Bbgen is available for download at
http://www.deadcat.net/viewfile.php?fileid=772. I wasn't completely
clear on your question, so I hope that helps.

I am looking for anything in BB ( a command, external tool or script)
which will give breif details of the device configuration being
monitored in BB. It could be like the type of device or the interface
connected to etc.

Please help me in this issue.
