If by "did not work" you mean that you get an alert (from the first
rule) but not from the second one, the first thing to do is to check
the file BBVAR/acks/notifications.log to see if BB is trying to notify.
If not, you should double-check the new rule to make sure that the 
host name matches exactly, there are no unusual or hidden characters
in the file (vi is useful here) and the second rule is a complete
line. I usually keep a couple of blank lines after the last rule,
just to make sure.

After that, you can set the DEBUG flag in bbpage.c, recompile "bbd"
and run it (with an appropriate alert condition) for a paging cycle.
That will write what BB is trying to do into the BBOUT file.
