{bb} Sendmail and greet_pause

I have BB setup to test a bunch of smtp boxes. The newest ones are
Sendmail 8.13.x boxes with greet_pause turned on. The smtp test
still works but it breaks on the smtp server side, filling the logs
with errors:

  
  Oct 24 18:51:07 host sm-mta[17675]: [ID 801593 mail.info]
  j9OMp7oc017675: rejecting commands from src [256.300.259.453] due to pre-greeting traffic

Any idea how this can be fixed. I am running an older version of BB
so let me know if its fixed in newer versions.
