I have installed BB more times than I care to remember. This
time I'm having problems and I don't know why...
Anyay, I have the client running under one user id and the
server running under another user id. They are separate users
and each are full owners of their respective directories.
I'm trying to run bb1.9h. The server is running because the
web site is updating. The client appears to be running.
In my BBOUT file on the client I get
CAN'T CONNECT TO bbd SERVER @ x.x.x.x
where x.x.x.x is the ip of the bb display server. When I try to
telnet to port 1984 on the server (which is the same machine
as the client - the one I'm telnetting to) I get a connection
refused. Why would this happen if the server is running?
Paul
