Hello,
I am trying to use bb-sybase_ase1.2, but except I copy
it to ext/ directory, do I need to set it up as the document says in
bb-sybase_ase1.1.tar?
Because in bb-sybase_ase1.2, there is no files such as
SITE.ctl,sp_dbmon.sql, do I need to use them to make bb-sybase_ase1.2 work?
Could anybody give me some tips on sybase
monitoring? Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Xiaoling Teng

up Roracle-2-14
Thanks. I already put SIDs in bb-roracle.ids, it
seemed no anything I could change. Finally, I copied that SID from oratab then
pasted it to the bb-roracle.ids, and it worked! That's strange. Anyway,
I am glad it works well now.
Thanks for your help. --teng

You need to specify the SIDs In the bb-roracle.ids
file. You need one enter in bb-roracle.ids for each SID in oratab
maked Y, even if you don't want to monitor that instance. For SIDs you
don't want to monitor, use this entry in the ids
file:
#type
SID userid
password
tests
log-as-h LOCAL demodb

Hi, brothers.
I am setting up Roracle to monitoring our oracle server.
The BB web shows the below message
"Instances specified in LOCAL_SIDS () do not match those found in
/var/opt/oracle/oratab "
so, where should I set LOCAL_SIDS in those configuration files:
bb-roracle.dbtab,bb-roracle.def or bb-roracle.ids?
Thanks for your help.
