FW: {bb} bb-dftab column information
We found a script on deadcat called bb-disk_by_fs.sh, which explained how to
configure bb-dftab for checking filesystems and paging separate groups, and
simply by using this format we were able to get what we wanted. Perhaps this
script already was implemented into our HP bb systems (bb18d4) before I
happened along. Anyway, it appears to be working now. Here's a blurb from
the script:
########## DESCRIPTION ##########
# This script has been modified on May 2, 2001 by Tim Reed
(tim.reed@motorola.com).
# This script will create separate columns on BBDISPLAY based on
# the lines in BBDFTAB. This will allow paging different people or groups
# depending on which filesystem is producing the alert.
# The new format of the BBDFTAB file:
# host:partition:WARN:PANIC:COLNAME
# PLEASE NOTE: if a disk is listed in bb-dftab,
# a HOST and COLNAME must be included, they are not optional.
# Unlike the default bb-disk.sh, this script will not recognize
# empty host fields or 'localhost' in the host field.
Thanks,
Neil
