{bb} BB paging/messaging

Hello All,
  
  I am in the process of upgrading bb to the latest version.   However, one of my BB servers is NOT reading my bbwarnrules  properly,  The only two bbwarn rules bb obeys are the  following.  It adequately sends an email alert (email and pager)  to the on-call person (mainly me) :)
  
  *;;*;;*;*;page.oncall@mydomain.com:~5-30 page.oncall2@sys.seven.com:~15-30
  
  or the catch-all:
  
  unmatched-*;;*;;*;*;monitor@mydomain.com:~15-30
  
  But if I add more detailed rules they all get ignored.  The syntax  is adequated - there are no typos. This behavior is just driving me  crazy.  Please let me know if you have any hints to solve this  issue.  Thank you!!!!
