I've had a quick look at the modified bb-disk.sh script and I don't
think that this behaviour is intended. I can't see anything in the
script that would continue to use the default value when a valid
line exists in the bb-dftab file. You might need to un-comment
some of the "echo" commands (or even add some) to debug the script.

I can't work out if you now have it working the way you want. If
not, I'd recommend sticking with the specified format for the
bb-dftab file (with out empty fields or "localhost" entries) and
debug the script. I would make a copy of the modified bb-disk.sh;
replace the calls to the "bb" binary with echo statements; add
extra echos to show what's happening; source the BB environment
and run the script from the command line.

with a "COLNAME" of "disk" appear to ignore the specified warn
and panic levels and pick up the defaults.

Cheers, Phil.
