The first thing that occurs to me it that you might be editing
the bbwarnrules.cfg file on a Windows machine. That will mess up
your line terminators and can corrupt the file. If in doubt, load
the file in "vi" and look for any odd characters.

If that guess was wrong, it's probably best to post your
bbwarnrules.cfg file to the list. Only the last part (after
# Enter your rules here) is necessary.
