{bb} Pager/notification problems

Greetings all!

I'm having issues with BBNTD 2.30 where no matter what I've put into the
bbwarnsetup.cfg file for the pagedelay (it was defaulting to 120, but was
ignoring that number too) the number is ignored, and pages/e-mails are sent
out every 5 minutes.

What we'd like to have configured is one page/e-mail notification goes out
when the system goes down, and then no notifications are sent for say 4
hours *except* when a system is recovered.

We have the following settings in the bbwarnsetup.cfg file for the
appropriate options:

pagedelay : 240
pagerecovered: TRUE
pagetype: EVENT


No one is getting brief receipts (at least not currently).


Unfortunately every 5 minutes pages and notifications are going out for the
same hosts.


What should I be looking at for fixing this problem?!
