{bb} Questions about vmstat on solaris vs. linux

I'm trying to work on some stats for my boxes.  I've got a 
quick question about mem_pi & mem_po vs. mem_si & mem_so.

I realize it's memory paged out and memory paged in on the 
solaris boxen and memory swapped out and memory swapped 
in on the linux boxen.  From all the googling I've done over the past 
few days & nights, they appear to be the same.  Is this the case?  If 
so, would it be technically correct to refer to both situations 
as either swapped or paged out or in?  It seems like semantics, 
but I wanted to get some outside thoughts.
