That is too far-out for me!

Subject: {bb} BBDISPLAY on external network?

Hi BB'ers,

My company is interested in having a second BBDISPLAY on an external network,
to monitor the health of our internal network and servers remotely.

I have setup a second machine as a BBRELAY machine on our internal network,
and it  is receiving messages fine from our primary BBDISPLAY.

Now someone is interested in taking this BBRELAY'd machine home.

I suppose the bbd will still be listening on port 1984 no problem.

But will port 1984 be open on the *external ISP's* firewall?

How about SSH (port 23?)?

Any recommendations as to if and how this could be implemented would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much,
Mark
