RE: {bb} maint.pl gif not showing on bb page

I fixed this by downloading a new version of CGI.pm. It needs to be version 2.89 or greater, I  used 3.15.

I am running bb1.9h, I successfully configured the maint.pl script from deadcat but the maintnance gif doesn't show on the page.  Does anybody have any hints to fix this anomaly?  Please share your thoughts.
