As someone who is probably closer to the end than the beginning,
I suggest the alternative descriptions mature, vintage or classic
for many of the scripts.

In general, the version that is on the Deadcat site is the most
recent available. You should not be put off by the fact that
many have not been modified for a long time. Given the choice
between a brand new script and on that no-one has been able
to improve for many years, I would have much more confidence
in the latter.
