The majority of people on this list use Unix or Linux for their
BB servers. You are more likely to get a meaningful answer on the
other (BBNTD orientated) list.

If I had to guess, I'd expect that you are expected to use a more
general SNMP tool for sending traps. Maybe a search of your
favourite Open Source software repository would turn up something.
