Distinctly odd.

Might it be the case that the BB user does not have permission to
to read the bb-proctab file? This could happen if you are modifying
the file as root.

Another possibility is that you might have more than one client
installed and the one that you're modifying is not the one that
is actually running. I seem to recall this happening to someone
who inherited a BB installation a while back. Probably the easiest
way to be sure would be to stop and re-start the client from the
BBHOME where you have made the change. This should no longer be
required, in order for BB to pick up the changes, but it will
ensure that you're running the correct client.
