I haven't.  I've decided to stay with gcc 3.3.2.

Anyone had luck with getting the client to install on aix 5.1 or 5.3
with gcc 4?
All I get is this:

Gcc installed on the boxes and the path to the binary is set, I've
tried
to edit the makefile, but even with CC set to gcc it still returns the
same error.,
