I recently installed BBSVR-bb1.9i-btf on an AIX 5.2 server. Everything works fine except for pinging of certain hosts. I can ping them by command line from the BBDISPLAY/BBPAGER server just fine. Big Brother on the otherhand reports it cannot ping the hosts. I have played around with the PINGPAR settings in the bbsys.sh, but that seems to delay it. I have changed the PINGPAR1= "-n -c1 -w3". It will be green for a few minutes, and then go back to red, stating it cannot ping these servers.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?
