Hi I sent out an email yesterday and after reading it again I just
wanted to make more sense.
I have an ext script for Oracle monitoring, and I also watch certain
http processes thru the bb-hosts file that for certain servers I want to
disable notifications on say from 2 am to 5 am. We take these processes
down nightly for backups and other things. Right now this is bombarding
my email with notifications. Since this is a daily issue I wanted to
know if anyone knows a way to make this happen. I saw a script on
deadcat that will allow for setting up multiple proctabs but this won't
help me with the program in the ext dir.
Has anyone done something like this before?
I am using another script from deadcat that gives me the ability on the
web page to disable certain monitored processes for x# of minutes but
that is a manual process. I am looking more for a way to automate that
kind of thing.
