So, if I understand correctly, the standard client tests appear to be
unaffected, but all the specified external tests turn "purple" at the
same time. If that's the case, I'd try the following:
1. Periodically check the memory usage of the BB client, using the
task manager, to see if there is a memory leak.
2. Set ActivateLog to see if it reports anything interesting.
3. When the problem happens next, try running the external test
manually to see if that is still effective. This should indicate
if BB is just failing to run the scripts or is failing to pass
the data back.
4. Also once you have the problem again, I would try restarting the
client process (rather than rebooting the machine) to see if that
is sufficient to cure it.
It might also help others to know what version of Windows you are using,
including the service pack level and if this is the 64-bit version.
Also, if Windows was pre-installed by HP, is there any vendor-specific
software running?
