Re: {bb} Big Brother Failover turning purple...
There are no firewall restrictions. Everything turns purple... every test
from every client.
bb-network.sh is NOT running on the failover machine after the failover...
I watched it for 30 minutes and it never started.
Perhaps I misunderstood the config notes. As I understand it (and please
correct me if I am wrong) the failover ext script is run ONLY on the
failover server, right? BBNET is defined as the primary only, right? I
have the primary set as BBNET in both bb-hosts files. I have uncommented
the FAILOVERBOTH=TRUE line in the failover script, which should cause BBNET
to fail over the same time that BBPAGER does, right?
So I guess my problem is that BBNET is not failing over properly... Any
advice on finding the cuplrit?
I appreciate your time, thanks.

If you have any BB clients configured, do their tests also turn purple?
Once failover has been triggered, is the BBNET process (bb-network.sh)
actually running on the failover server? Is there anything relevant
being written to the BBOUT file? Is there any firewall software
running on the failover server?
Cheers, Phil.
