Re: {bb} larrd install dirs etc

A few comments.

In order for LARRD to work, it needs to be executed by the bb client
running 
on the BBDISPLAY server.  Re-read the docs with that information 
and come back with questions if you have them.  Once the server and 
client were split, the larrd install had to go with the client.

The larrd processes just scan through the logs collecting the data. 
Unless, 
that is, you've got the LARRDCOMM set to DATA, then the clients will 
not send statii (plural of status?), but only the data required for 
the graph to show up in trends.

Hi,

The install file of larrd says:

"Make sure the paths to BBHOME and LARRDHOME match your installation".

Which BBHOME do they mean?
On the server i have the server software installed in 
/home/bbsrv/bb1.9i-btf

Larrd is unpacked in /usr/local/larrd-0.43d and i made a symlink to 
/usr/local/larrd.
After this i executed the perl command which they said i should.
They also said i should do chown -R bbuser:bbgroup
/usr/local/larrd-0.43d
Should i use the bbuser of the server or the client.
The user of bbserver is bbsrv and the client userid is bbctl.

In the server dir i have changed
/home/bbsrv/bb1.9i-btf/etc/bb-bbexttab
and added:

localhost: : larrd/bf-larrd.sh larrd/larrd.pl larrd/larrd-html.pl

and i made a symlinked  /home/bbsrv/bb1.9i-btf/www/ext/larrd to 
/usr/local/larrd.

I guess i should also change the bb-bbexttab  in 
/home/bbctl/bbc1.9i-btf/etc and add the line that i added in the server

bb-bbexttab file?

When i click on the CPU of the server which i also the client in this
case 
cause i installed no other clients i scroll down and click on the larrd
i 
see larrd hourly for example and i click on that and i see:

ERROR: Garbage ':46:24 2006' after command: COMMENT:Wed mar 22 11:46:24

2006

What is going wrong here?
