That's right, LARRD must be run by the client, I should have remembered
that.

A few comments.

In order for LARRD to work, it needs to be executed by the bb client
running 
on the BBDISPLAY server.  Re-read the docs with that information 
and come back with questions if you have them.  Once the server and 
client were split, the larrd install had to go with the client.
