Re: {bb} Big Brother Failover turning purple...



Thanks.  I "undid' it, and set the failover script to run only on the
failover box, and now it is working properly.  BBNET fails over within
about 6 minutes.  It's almost like I had to "prime the pump" by getting
BBNET to run once first...  I keep the config files in SVN, and I am the
only one that edits them, so I am 99% sure these config files are exactly
the same as they were when it WASN'T working...   I'm going to test this in
our production environment in a few minutes, so hopefully I'll have a bit
more insight then...  Anyone have any theories as to what seem to be
happening?  It could very well just be me, but I'm very confident that the
files haven't changed...

I wouldn't do that. It is not what is intended. The failover script is
only meant to be run on the failover machine. Running it on both is
likely to cause problems later on.
