A-ha, that make sense. Without the alias being set, BB wouldn't see
it's name in bb-hosts and would not start the processes. I don't
expect that this happens too often, but it might be a candidate for
an error message.

I'd doubt that :) I think it was just a result of the obvious name
conflict. IIRC, most of the messages coincided with the debut of the
show in the US.

I would say exactly the opposite. You should stay subscribed as long
as possible. Then, if we ever get some more confused viewers, you
will be able to point them in the right direction :)
Actually, I had a quick look in the archives to see if I could find
a funny example for you and I couldn't find any! It looks like my
memory let me down (yet again) and the quantity was nowhere near as
large as I remembered.
