AW: AW: {bb} Migrating big brother 2.30 (Windows) to 1.9i (GNU/Linux)

Hi Rolf,

FQDN was first enabled for the big brother installation on the linux host, but I have disabled it later by setting FQDN="FALSE" in bbdef.sh. I hope this is sufficient to disable it. On the windows BB installation it was never enabled.

Ping from command line work, so it isn't blocked by a firewall.

Best Regards
Sebastian Noack

Hi Sebastian,

other ideas: firewall (ping from commandline works?), settings for fully
qualified hostnames differ in the two systems (name missmatch?)
