RE: {bb} larrd question this time



I did not have the bbdef-server.sh file so I copied it from one of our
other bb servers that did. I did not have the pm file you mentioned, but
I did find a similar line in lard-config.pl, but was remarked out. It
was set to status, so I tried unremarking the line.

I think that you may need to remove the "&" character from the
CLEANCHARS definition in bbdef-server.sh (on the server side).
I thought that was covered in the INSTALL document, but I don't
see it there.

The lack of rrd files will result in the "larrd is accumulating"
message until there is enough meaningful data, but the rest should
still work.

You might also need to change lib/LARRD/config.pm (at line 92), from:

  $ENV{'LARRDCOMM'}="AUTO";

to either STATUS or DATA. The AUTO method tries to find the required
method using your BB makefile,which will not work on recent versions.
