Which files are the ones to delete? Is it a problem to just delete
everything in the BB tmp directory?

I don't have the exact same issue, but it does seem like alarms on the
MSGS column are often a little too long lived. The problem I usually get
is that bb panics that certain log file are empty, which occurs whenever
logrotate finishes its regular rotations.
