{bb} BB Not removing Alarm Info

Robert,

Here is the info from my bbdef-server.sh :

BBWEB="/~bb/bb1.9i-btf"
BBWEBHOST="http://a12.defcon1.org";
export BBWEB BBWEBHOST

# URL OF THE CGI SCRIPTS
# SHOULDN'T END WITH A "/"
#
CGIBINURL="http://a12.defcon1.org/bb-cgi-bin";                   # e.g. /cgi-bin
export CGIBINURL

#
# URL OF reports
#
BBREPURL="${BBWEB}/rep"
export BBREPURL

To be honest I cant explain the problem with the one page displaying yesterday stats.
Another thing that I noticed some of the servers dont have a page listed, yet some do.
Meaning if you click on SR-71 "Conn" it doesnt give you a page. Yet the path to this
directory is /usr/home/bb/public_html/bb1.9i-btf/html and I have even chmod'd it to 777.
So, it has the permission to write whatever it wants within this directory.

If it would help, I can give you the login and password of the shell to login and poke around.

Thanks, Kevin

Robert,
No I have left everything in place, due to I figured if I removed it then it would be much
harder for someone to see the problems that I am having. Also, when I had sent the
earlier Email I had an "Alarm" the red icon, and not I have a "not responding" purple
icon. So, that part has atleast updated, yet, it wont clear, and when it did go from
red to purple it took about 30 min. or so.

Something's very weird. I may not be looking at the same problem as you are but why does

http://a12.defcon1.org/~bb/bb1.9i-btf/html/a12.defcon1.org.conn.html

show a log from Sunday (and that's the dot on bb.html)

while

http://a12.defcon1.org/~bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/html/a12.defcon1.org.conn.html

shows a log from today (and this should be the dot on bb.html)

Now are your BBWEB and BBWEBHOST variables in bbdef-server.sh
set up properly?

Also, are your links in your web server docs directory pointing
at the right directory...

usually, BB would have been found in

http://a12.defcon1.org/bb/

where

WWW/bb is a link to ~bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/

and

BBWEB="/bb"
BBWEBHOST="a12.defcon1.org"

Finally, from

http://a12.defcon1.org/~bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/

you can't get to the summary page (bb2.html)
http://a12.defcon1.org/~bb/bb1.9i-btf/bb2.html

unless you manually modify to

http://a12.defcon1.org/~bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/bb2.html
(added www which would point to a BBWEB misconfiguration)

bye
