Doug,

I've been so busy the last few days that I haven't been following this,
so forgive me if I'm repeating something that has already been said.

If you run those external scripts manually, Big Brother is only getting
the data one time.  So after 5 minutes or so it will go purple again.

After you add them to the bb-exttab file, they will run every 5 minutes
and keep refreshing the status and should not go purple.

Does that make sense?

Hi guys + gals,

This one has been flogged to death I know but I can't really see a
definitive solution to my prob, so here we go around again ...

I have a number of external scripts that are defined in BBEXT, and are
in the ext folder. They run fine standalone when doing:

BBHOME=`pwd`
export BBHOME
. ./ext/bb-script.sh

The test then goes green for a wee while before flipping purple again.

Can anyone give me pointers in where else to check. Nothing useful
appears in BBOUT either.
