This would suggest that BB does not think that it should be
sending an alert. If you have any files in $BBHOME/tmp that
start with "np_", you should remove them. Then, you should
confirm the following:

1.  The bb-hosts file(s) have the BBPAGER keyword listed for
    the server. E.g.:

      x.x.x.x   server.machine.com  # BBPAGER BBNET BBDISPLAY ssh

2.  Your bbwarnsetup.cfg file(s) have:

      bbwarn: TRUE

    and

      pagelevels: red purple

    (or similar).

3.  Your bbwarnrules.cfg file (on the server side) has a line like:

      *;;*;;*;*;bbuser@server.machine.com
